Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital pharmacy practice preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Residency training preferred.
• Current California Pharmacist License.
• Able to interface with hospital staff and public in a courteous and professional manner.
• Demonstrates emotional maturity, self-awareness and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and documents drug protocols as ordered by physicians.
• Maintains computerized patient record system for medication therapy.
• Monitors and intervenes on drug regimens for safety and efficacy.
• Supervises IV admixtures, dispensing and compounding; supports other duties.
