Job summary

Shasta Regional Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team. Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, you will coordinate daily operations to ensure safe, effective medication use across medical and surgical units, ICU, obstetrics, and emergency services.

Qualified candidates must hold a current pharmacist license in California, have hospital pharmacy experience, and BLS/ACLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital.
• Ensure patient safety across General Medicine/Surgical, ICU, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize medication use and ensure accurate dispensing and therapies.
