Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa, FL is seeking a Hospital Clinic Representative to provide friendly patient reception, register patients, schedule appointments, and support billing inquiries in a fast-paced clinic setting.

This full-time on-site role offers day shifts, on-site only, with benefits including health coverage, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off; ideal for candidates with strong customer service and healthcare exposure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Six (6) months of Healthcare experience OR six (6) months of Customer Service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and signing in patients upon arrival.
• Obtaining and updating patient information.
• Scheduling appointments and assisting with patient inquiries.
• Coordinating procedures, laboratory services, and referrals with consulting physicians.
• Collecting and posting patient payments.
• Assisting patients with billing questions.
• Reviewing encounter forms for completeness prior to patient checkout.
• Managing clerical duties, including sorting mail and copying medical records.
• Maintaining accurate patient information and documentation.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Role Overview
