Methodist Hospital Westover Hills, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an experienced Chef to lead food production for the cafeteria, patient trays, and catering. You will supervise kitchen operations, ensure sanitation, safety, and quality while coordinating with a diverse team.

Responsibilities include training staff, scheduling, and maintaining records; a culinary certification and Serve Safe are preferred. The role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities within a large national healthcare

Qualificações

• Culinary Certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Bachelor's in dietetics or food systems management preferred.
• Serve Safe Certification preferred.
• Three years of supervisory food service experience.

Responsabilidades

• Trains, orients and schedules personnel for all aspects of food production and sanitation.
• Supervises food preparation, service, and sanitation in the kitchen.
• Coordinates purchase of food items and supervises plating and distribution for multiple meal services.
• Maintains production records and quality assurance data as required by regulatory agencies.
• Demonstrates safe food handling and ensures compliance with time/temperature controls.
