Duke Health is seeking a Chaplain to provide full pastoral care and spiritual support within Duke Raleigh Hospital. Responsibilities include assessment, counseling, and sacramental ministry for patients, families, and staff.

The role includes mentoring chaplain residents and interns, conducting seminars, and developing outreach to clergy for adjunct chaplaincy in a major health system.

Qualifications

• Master of Divinity or equivalent is required.
• Completion of four ACPE CPE units is required.
• Six months pastoral ministry experience (Level I) and three years clinical chaplain experience (Level II) are expected.

Responsabilités

• Provide full ministry of pastoral care and spiritual support to patients, families, and staff.
• Assess spiritual needs and provide counseling, including sacraments and rituals.
• Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to enhance pastoral care.
• Develop outreach to community clergy and religious leaders for adjunct chaplaincy.
