Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a professional chaplain to provide spiritual care and support for patients and families across multiple Carolinas sites. The role emphasizes ethical outreach, collaboration with the health care team, and adherence to CP Education standards.

Applicants should have a Master’s of Divinity or equivalent and preferably one ACPE unit, with ongoing supervision and documentation of activities. Some locations may be considered within the Carolinas network.

Qualifications

• Master's of Divinity or equivalent preferred.
• One ACPE unit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily spiritual care visitation and supports patients, families, and teammates.
• Maintains spiritual care statistics and completes charting for interactions.
• Engages in supervisory meetings with CPE supervisor and reports activities.
• Participates in group care delivery and adheres to CP Education standards.
• Liaises with endorsing denomination and hospital chaplaincy leadership.
