Job summary

VWI is seeking a Program Manager to oversee hospital housekeeping and Regulated Medical Waste across a multi-building Salt Lake City medical campus in support of the VA.

The role requires 5 years of leadership in housekeeping, 3 in general/2 in hospital, plus the ability to coordinate large shift teams and work with government contracting programs. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with strong safety, compliance, and communication skills, and readiness for on-site management.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in leadership roles, incl. 3+ years in housekeeping management.
• 2 years of hospital housekeeping experience.
• Willing to be available 24/7 by phone/pager.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in business/management.
• Experience in government contracting program or project management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hospital and general housekeeping for a multi-building campus.
• Manage Regulated Medical Waste (RMW) collection.
• Coordinate large multi-shift teams.
• Support VA/DoD contracting requirements.
