Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is seeking a skilled hospital switchboard operator and receptionist to handle the main telephone line, physician answering service, and internal operator calls.

You will provide welcoming reception and customer service to visitors, manage emergency codes and alarm systems, and coordinate with staff across departments while maintaining accurate daily schedules and records.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED or equivalent educ/experience.
• 2 years Switchboard experience in a healthcare setting.
• Associate's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls to hospital main number and operator.
• Provide reception and customer service to visitors.
• Manage emergency codes, alarm panels, and emergency phones, and summon appropriate staff.
• Assist with staff scheduling and on-call updates.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing trainings.
