Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri is seeking a part-time Call Center Representative to join the Operator Services department. You will provide professional, courteous customer service to patients, families and staff, using online databases and directories to direct inquiries.

Schedule is 27.5 hours per week, 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM, with every-other weekend, mandatory overtime, and holiday rotation. Training days and shifts may include days, evenings and overnights to ensure coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• <2 years of experience.
• 2-5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers and directs inquiries from patients, visitors, physicians and staff to appropriate locations.
• Answers incoming calls according to department guidelines.
• Provides paging service.
• Performs clerical duties, organizes and maintains records.
• Ensures customers receive exceptional service by responding per request.
