You will analyze insurance payments, address denials, and collaborate with payers to maximize reimbursements while maintaining compliance with regulations. Strong communication and multi-tasking skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in accounts payable/receivable or cashier is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical billing, coding and insurance terminology is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Familiar with billing requirements and third-party processes.

Aufgaben

• Post and reconcile daily payments and maintain patient balances.
• Analyze insurance payments and contracts for accurate reimbursements.
• Identify underpayments/denials and coordinate with payers to recover funds.
• Distribute billing materials, manage hospital mail, and correct mailing discrepancies.
• Communicate professionally with patients and staff regarding accounts.
