Job summary

Tanner Health System is seeking a Service Coordinator - Transfer and Bed Control Center (Days) to streamline patient testing and bed management. You will coordinate care across the Hub and Spoke model and prioritize schedules to meet demand while supporting throughput initiatives.

Responsibilities include clear communication with nursing units and departmental leads, ensuring efficient testing workflows and timely bed transfers in a non-remote, hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of acute care clinical or healthcare scheduling experience.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to cooperate and work with interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to handle stress situations or crisis well.
• Must be able to use Word, Excel and SharePoint; troubleshoot office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize testing and services for patients admitted from the Hub.
• Ensure service area schedules are optimized to meet patient demand and throughput initiatives.
• Communicate and coordinate patient's testing needs with service area departments and nursing units.
