Job summary

LINET is seeking a Field Service Technician I in Bakersfield, CA to install, troubleshoot and repair LINET and related products in hospital settings. You will report to the Field Service Supervisor and support on customer installations while documenting repairs and maintaining service records.

Responsibilities include on-site maintenance of beds and accessories, adherence to safety procedures, and ongoing product education. Travel ranges from 5% to 80% depending on jobs and schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year related experience and/or training.
• Advanced electro-mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license; insured under company guidelines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level of customer service and interact with customers professionally.
• Complete repair work for electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems per standards.
• Assist on installations and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Document repairs with work orders, including parts, warranties and descriptions.
• Sign and submit paperwork within 24 hours of completion.
• Perform routine maintenance on beds, stretchers and related items.
• Understand product functionality to meet patient and caregiver needs.
• Complete ongoing LINET product education and training.
• Adhere to LINET Safety Procedures during work on LINET products.
• Wear PPE as required (shoes, eye protection, gloves, etc.).
• Maintain service van and inventory; report issues to management.
• Report any damages or bed function failures to Technical Support.
• All other duties and on-call hours may be required.
