Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a licensed physician to manage the initial evaluation and treatment of patients under general supervision. The role requires completion of an accredited medical program, Maryland licensure, board certification as appropriate, and ongoing CME credits for licensure renewal.

Responsibilities include documenting histories and exams in EMR, writing orders, evaluating progress, coordinating with teams, and guiding patient education and discharge planning while upholding GBMC

Qualifications

• Requires medical degree and board certification as applicable.
• Licensed physician in Maryland or eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Manages initial evaluation and treatment of patients.
• Documents history, physicals, orders, and progress notes in EMR.
• Plans and coordinates patient care across departments.
• Refers patients to appropriate services and documents needs.
• Demonstrates GBMC Values in daily practice.
• Engages in patient and family education and discharge planning.
