Trinity Health Livonia Hospital - St. Mary's in Livonia, MI is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Physical Therapist in developing and executing patient programs. The role requires Day shift coverage with rotating days, and weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

You will implement treatment plans, document patient progress, and communicate with the care team. A PTA license in Michigan and an associate degree are required; hospital experience is desirable.

Qualificações

• Graduate with an APTA-accredited associate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current Michigan licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Some hospital attendant experience desirable; on-the-job equipment training.
• Willing to participate in inservices and meetings; continuous learning.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and executing patient programs, per physician orders.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient response and PT consultation.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, staff, and families about care.
• Document treatment progress and billing-related information timely.
• Ensure treatment plans are implemented safely and efficiently.
