Job summary

Butler Medical Transport is seeking a BridgePoint Hospital Based Paramedic for the MD/DC area to deliver advanced life support during interfacility transports under leadership supervision.

This regular full-time role requires NR Paramedic certification, current state paramedic licensure (or within 10 days), and CPR/ACLS/PALS. Competitive hourly pay with night differential and growth opportunities are offered, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NR Paramedic certification required.
• Current NR Paramedic and State Paramedic (or eligibility within 10 days).
• Current CPR, ACLS, PALS (or ability to obtain within 10 days).
• Ability to pass lift, drug, and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced life support during interfacility transports.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to EMT crew members.
• Communicate effectively with patients, dispatch, family members, and facility staff.
• Ensure vehicle and equipment readiness and cleanliness.
• Complete accurate patient care reports prior to shift end.
• Maintain certifications and stay current with state protocols.
