Job summary

Best Care Ambulance, Inc. is seeking a Paramedic to provide high-level EMS during interfacility transports in Centerville, MD. You will assess patients, administer advanced life support, and ensure safe, timely transport to facilities for definitive care.

The role emphasizes leadership within the EMS team, mentorship of EMT crew, and adherence to state protocols while maintaining top-quality patient care across emergent and non-emergent transports.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• A Paramedic certification is required.
• Current NR Paramedic and State Paramedic licensure (or able to obtain within 10 days).
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS (or ability to obtain within 10 days).
• Excellent patient care within scope of practice; knowledge of state protocols.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced life support during interfacility transports, following protocols.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to EMT crew members.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, dispatch, and facility staff.
• Maintain equipment readiness and complete patient care reports before shift end.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and readiness; adhere to all state protocols.
