Job summary
Advocate Health is seeking a Hospital at Home Pharmacy Supervisor to lead daily pharmacy operations across Hospital at Home, LTC, Hospice, FSED, and MedCenter Air. You will ensure safe medication distribution, regulatory compliance, and staff engagement while partnering with nursing, providers, and operations.
The role demands strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to drive quality and access to medications in home-based acute care settings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
- Licensed in the state or eligible for reciprocity.
- 2 years of work experience in pharmacy required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily Hospital at Home pharmacy operations and workflow.
- Provide operational leadership for LTC, Hospice, FSED, and MedCenter Air pharmacy services.
- Lead staffing, scheduling, and teammate development to support safe patient care.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and pharmacy policies.
- Monitor productivity, service levels, and operational performance metrics.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and implementation of new technologies and services.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize medication management and patient outcomes.
- Participate in leadership meetings, committees, and strategic planning initiatives.
