Ensemble Health Partners is hiring an entry-level Patient Access Specialist for hospital-based roles in Pittsburgh, McMurray, or Bethel Park, PA. You will perform admitting duties for all patients and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering excellent patient service.

The position includes bonus incentives, paid certifications, tuition reimbursement, comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career advancement. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.70 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Willingness to learn and adapt, including AI-enabled processes.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Assign MRNs and perform admitting duties for all patients.
• Complete medical necessity / compliance checks and collect insurance information.
• Process physician orders and use overlay tools while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Explain general consent forms and obtain necessary signatures.
• Review insurance verification and enter benefit data to support POS and billing.
• Screen medical necessity using ABN software and distribute relevant forms.
