Ensemble Health Partners is hiring an entry-level Patient Access Specialist (PRN) to perform admitting duties at Independence - Clarion Hospital in Clarion, PA. The role requires collecting demographics, insurance, and consent forms while delivering excellent customer service.

This onsite position offers bonus incentives, paid certifications, and tuition reimbursement, with compensation based on experience and a pay rate of $17.00–$18.15 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes and ways to alleviate friction and improve patient and client experiences.
• High School Diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital.
• Collect insurance information and process physician orders.
• Explain and distribute patient forms and education documents.
• Screen medical necessity using ABN software and inform patients of potential non-payment by Medicare.
