Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate reservations for all scheduled admissions and assign patient rooms across medical/surgical and ICU units.
• Obtain pre-certifications for scheduled admissions prior to patient arrival.
• Verify insurance coverage for admitted patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, hospital staff, physicians and other customers.
• Maintain courteous, helpful attitude and manage bed shortages under pressure.
