Valley Health System is seeking an Accountant to maintain general ledger accounts and develop financial statements for Valley Medical Group. This role ensures the integrity of financial information, supports GAAP compliance, and oversees internal controls within a hospital/medical group setting.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting or Business Admin, a Master's preferred, and at least four years of related experience; CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum four years of progressively established, advanced, diversified accounting experience; hospital/medical group preferred.
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred; CPA preferred.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, schedules, month-end close, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts and develop financial statements and reports.
• Ensure integrity of financial information, accounting systems and internal controls.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of GAAP, finance reporting and operational accounting functions.
