Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking an accounting professional to maintain ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, and produce financial statements for Valley Physician Services, Valley Medical Services, and the Foundation.

The role requires 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare, with CPA or CIA preferred. Proficiency in Excel and Word, strong communication, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting is required.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ledger accounts and prepare journal entries.
• Post batches and reconcile bank/investment statements.
• Prepare financial statements and reports; analyze general ledger accounts.
• Communicate findings, conclusions, and recommendations to management.
