Valley Health System is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support financial and business analysis for the system and affiliates. You will work with Finance & Treasury, Accounts Payable, and Payroll to prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 1–3 years of accounting experience. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1–3 years accounting or finance experience.
• Experience with accounting or financial systems.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and deadline-driven skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and interface various software applications.
• Build and maintain reports in different software applications.
• Perform day-to-day financial reporting and analysis for assigned areas.
• Research and resolve inquiries for assigned functional areas.
• Communicate with management regarding financial close, issues and deliverables.
• Gather operational data and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Assist in special projects across accounting, finance, treasury, and analytic functions.
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to changes and new ideas.
