Job summary

Luminos Hospice is seeking an experienced Weeknight On-Call RN to join our caring team. You will provide nursing care to patients in their homes on weeknights, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team and families to ensure comfort and safety.

Required is a current RN license, CPR certification, and ability to work independently with strong attention to detail. Prior hospice experience is preferred; reliable transportation is essential for home visits.

Qualifications

• Two years' nursing experience in a clinical care setting.
• One year full-time hospice preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and on-call schedule.

Job Overview:

Luminos Hospice is seeking a skilled and compassionate On-Call RN to join our team. As an On-Call RN, you will be responsible for providing quality care to our patients in the evenings. Primary functions are to administer nursing care for patients of all ages in their place of residence and to coordinate care with the Interdisciplinary team, patients, families, and referring agency. Assumes the responsibility for, and participates in, the coordination of care.

Requirements

Licensure:

Current State RN license.

Current driver’s license.

Current CPR Certification.

Experience:

Two (2) years' experience as a Nurse in a clinical care setting and one (1) year full-time hospice preferred.

Skills:

Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.

Knowledge of state and federal regulations.

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

Strong attention to detail and organizational habits.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good interpersonal skills.

Transportation:
