Job summary

Luminos Hospice is seeking a Weekend On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care during weekends in patients' homes. The role emphasizes compassionate nursing support and timely communication with families and the Interdisciplinary Group.

Responsibilities include administering nursing care for patients of all ages in their residence, coordinating care with the team, and ensuring continuity of services during weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Current State RN license and CPR certification.
• Two years' nursing experience in a clinical care setting; hospice experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently.

Weekend On-Call Hospice RN

Schedule:

Part-time, Friday 5pm - Monday 8am, every other weekend

Job Overview:

Luminos Hospice is seeking a skilled and compassionate On-Call RN to join our team. As an On-Call RN, you will be responsible for providing quality care to our patients during the weekends. Primary functions are to administer nursing care for patients of all ages in their place of residence and to coordinate care with the Interdisciplinary Group/Team, patients, families, and referring agency. Assumes the responsibility for, and participates in, the coordination of care.

Requirements

Licensure

Current State RN license.

Current driver’s license.

Current CPR Certification.

Experience

Two (2) years' experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting and one (1) year full-time hospice preferred.

Skills

Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.

Knowledge of state and federal regulations.

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

Strong attention to detail and organizational habits.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good interpersonal skills.
