Job summary

Northern Arizona Hospice, part of LHC Group and within the Optum family, seeks a Per Diem Hospice Volunteer Manager to lead recruitment, training, and assignments for hospice volunteers. You will coordinate patient care-related volunteer activities and maintain documentation in the EMR, aligning with regulatory standards.

Required: Microsoft Suite experience, a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Suite and ability to learn multiple applications.
• Proven effective communication and presentation skills.
• Proven management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, training, ongoing education, and assignments for Hospice Volunteers
• Implement actions to meet regulatory or certification standards and company pillars
• Meet with patients, caregivers, families, and hospice team to coordinate volunteer assignments
• Assign volunteers to activities and monitor reports, flag urgent items to supervisor
• Maintain accurate volunteer activity documentation in EMR in compliance with standards
