Job summary

Northern Arizona Hospice, part of the LHC Group and a nationwide post-acute care partner, seeks a Per Diem Hospice Volunteer Manager in Cottonwood, AZ. You will lead, manage, and coordinate agency volunteers to support patient care in collaboration with the hospice team.

The role requires coordinating recruitment, training, and ongoing education, plus maintaining EMR documentation and ensuring program standards meet regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Suite and ability to learn multiple applications.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, training, ongoing education, and assignments for Hospice Volunteers
• Implement necessary actions to ensure program standards meet regulatory or certification bodies and company pillars
• Meet with patients, caregivers, families, and hospice team to coordinate patient care-related volunteer assignments
• Assign volunteers to appropriate activities, monitor reports from volunteers and bring urgent items to the attention of the appropriate supervisor
• Maintain accurate and timely volunteer activity care plan documentation in the electronic medical record system in compliance with federal and state standards and regulations
