Job summary

Care Central VNA & Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Volunteer Coordinator to grow our volunteer program in Gardner, MA. You will recruit, onboard, train, and schedule volunteers who provide companionship, comfort, and support to patients and families.

The coordinator will travel between Gardner and Webster offices, maintain training records, and collaborate with the hospice team to identify volunteer needs and opportunities. Part-time, non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• Experience leading volunteers or para-professionals in health or human services.
• Ability to recruit, onboard and train volunteers effectively.
• Enthusiasm for hospice care and patient/family support.
