Hospice Services of Massachusetts is hiring a Volunteer Coordinator to oversee our volunteer program across eastern MA from NH to Mid-Cape. The role requires driving, with a schedule that may be full-time or part-time.

The ideal candidate will recruit, train, and supervise volunteers, coordinate with patients and families, and represent the hospice program in the community. Weekly pay is included at $26–$29/hour.

Qualificações

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience overseeing volunteer programming required.
• Prior health care setting experience preferred.
• Willing to travel with valid driver's license and insured vehicle.
• Ability to manage a group of volunteers.

• Attend interdisciplinary group meetings.
• Assist in budget creation for volunteer programming and operate within determined budgets.

Hospice Services of Massachusetts, a 5-star hospice agency, is hiring a Volunteer Coordinator!

As the volunteer coordinator, you oversee the volunteer program, including recruiting, planning, and managing services. The candidate must be willing to drive, as the position covers the eastern part of MA from the NH border to Mid-Cape. Full-time or part-time opening.

$26 to $29 an hour, with weekly pay.

Experience & Education:

• Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Prior experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Experience overseeing volunteer programming required.
• Must be willing to travel and have a valid driver's license as well as an insured and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to manage a group of individuals.

Specific Requirements:

• Understanding of hospice philosophy.
• Ability to coordinate, supervise, and evaluate volunteer services.
• Ability to organize and develop volunteer hospice personnel for both patient and organizational needs.
• Ability to manage a group of individuals providing volunteer time and who will be considered employees.
• Ability to travel. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
