Traditions Health in Peoria is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, train, and manage hospice volunteers, coordinating with the care team to support patient plans of care and community outreach.

You will develop volunteer programs, ensure compliance with Medicare and state regulations, plan memorial services, and promote the agency's mission of compassionate, in-home patient care. This role offers competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate; college/university degree preferred.
• Two years' experience recruiting and managing volunteers in hospice/healthcare preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with the IDT and community partners.

Responsabilités

• Recruits, selects, trains and coordinates hospice volunteers.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal laws in volunteer recruitment and retention.
• Develops and promotes volunteer programs in collaboration with IDT and administration.
• Manages volunteer documentation and reporting to meet Medicare requirements.
• Establishes public relations to foster community relationships.
• Plans Hospice Memorial Service and coordinates related activities.
