Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice seeks veterinarians to provide compassionate, in-home end-of-life care across Wisconsin. You’ll practice on the road, with a focus on dignity and family support, in a collaborative, mentorship‑driven environment.

Choose from 5-day, 4-day, or 2–3 day schedules, with self‑managed options and a strong, non‑compete policy. Generous bonuses accompany base pay, with full benefits and flexible weekend planning.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; assistance up to 90 lbs may be needed.
• License verification, background check, and driving record review will be completed before start.

Responsibilities

• Practice veterinary medicine in home visits, providing end‑of‑life care with compassion.
• Offer guidance to families and support during difficult conversations.
• Participate in onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.
