Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families across Franklin & Muskego, Wisconsin, and surrounding areas. Join a doctor-led, privately held practice that values autonomy and compassionate end-of-life care in the comfort of pets' homes.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited program.
• Active veterinary license in the relevant state(s).
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel to in-home appointments.
• Strong communication and empathetic client interaction in end-of-life care contexts.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and compassionate euthanasia services.
• Travel independently to scheduled home visits and operate in a mobile veterinary care environment.
• Perform examinations, medication administration, sedation, euthanasia, and other veterinary procedures as permitted.
• Guide families through quality-of-life decisions and end-of-life care options with empathy and clarity.
• Maintain accurate medical records for each patient encounter.
• Collaborate with Heartstrings team and referring veterinarians.
