Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Manager of Supportive Care Services to lead and coordinate the hospice's psychosocial and bereavement programs. The role oversees Social Work, Pastoral and Bereavement Services and works closely with the Hospice Nurse Manager to ensure integrated, high-quality care across the hospice team.

The position requires a Master's in social work with an LCSW/LSW licensure and at least 3 years of clinical social work experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work and active licensure.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or other applicable licensure.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical social work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, oversight, and coordination of the hospice's psychosocial and bereavement services.
• Oversees Social Work, Pastoral and Bereavement Services within the interdisciplinary hospice model.
• Partners with the Hospice Nurse Manager for coordinated operational and clinical leadership.
• Supports staff performance, regulatory compliance, quality outcomes, and patient/family experience.
• Serves as a key member of the hospice leadership team to address emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, and bereavement needs.
