Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) for weekend shifts in Sanford, North Carolina. The role focuses on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care within the hospice framework and collaborating with families and the care team.

Responsibilities include applying nursing theories to care, documenting for reimbursement, coordinating with physicians and staff, and participating in IDT meetings and quality reviews.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience, with at least one year in hospice preferred.
• Knowledge of home health and hospice care frameworks and nurse roles.
• Understanding of nursing practice act, agency policies, and reimbursement guidelines.
• 12 hours of annual continuing education.
• CPR certification.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
