Job summary

Sanctuary Hospice seeks a Registered Nurse Program Director to oversee our Chicago hospice program. You will provide leadership for operations, growth, external market relationships, financial management, and quality care delivery.

As Hospice Program Director, you will administer day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with hospice laws and Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and work with senior management to support patients and families with dignity and compassion, delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, health care, or business administration preferred.
• RN with a current state license to practice as a professional nurse.
• Minimum of two years' experience in health care management, home health, hospice, or related health programs.
• Two years of hospice experience with knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and aging services regulations.
• Operations or sales leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships in communities served and within a company.
• Experience in analyzing processes and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Build the Dream Team: Employ qualified colleagues and ensure adequate training and evaluation.
• Be the Backbone of Excellence: Organize and supervise the administrative functions of the hospice program and local operations.
• Compliance Champion: Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations and implement corrective action if needed.
• Lead with Purpose: Take charge of the day-to-day management and operations of the hospice program.
• Policy Implementer: Implement the policies and procedures approved by the governing body.
