Queen City Hospice is seeking a Registered Nurse for after-hours hospice care in Ohio. You will triage after-hours calls, assess needs, coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, and support families with compassionate end-of-life care.

This full-time role offers a two-week rotating schedule (Weekdays 5p-3a, Weekends 8a-8p) and a strong emphasis on work-life balance, salary increases for hospice certification, and comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum two years of professional nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Mansioni

• Serve as the primary triage nurse for after-hours calls, assessing needs and coordinating appropriate care.
• Evaluate physical, emotional, social, and spiritual factors impacting patient and family well-being and involve the interdisciplinary team as needed.
• Communicate proactively with attending physicians, team members, and partner agencies to ensure seamless, high-quality care.
• Perform clinical pronouncements of death and provide compassionate support to families.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation including care plans, progress notes, and updates.

Schedule

Two-week rotating schedule:
Weekdays: 5p-3a
Weekends: 8a-8p
Rotation: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
