Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a licensed RN to join the Hospice IPC team at the North Shore Hospital location. The role involves coordinating care across physicians and the care team, with on-call responsibilities after training and a rotating shift pattern including 12-hour days and nights.

Candidates should have hospice or related clinical experience, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to compassionate end‑of‑life care. Training occurs Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, after which shifts rotate weekly.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of practice; associate degree preferred.
• CPR certification required; hospice/home health/medical-surgical experience preferred.
• Willingness to serve on-call and uphold organizational values.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to lift and assist patients; physical stamina for demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hospice nursing care with individualized plans.
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and update patient records during shifts.
• Educate patients and families on medications, mobility, and end-of-life prep.
• Participate in on-call coverage and team meetings as assigned.
• Comply with agency and state nursing regulations.
