Job summary

St. Joseph Hospice in Louisiana is seeking a Full-Time Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) for Sibley, LA. Join our team and benefit from an ESOP that makes you an employee-owner and from competitive pay.

You will perform patient assessments, develop and implement the Hospice Plan of Care, educate patients and families, coordinate with physicians and the care team, maintain accurate records, and participate in on-call coverage according to policy.

Qualifications

• Louisiana RN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Current automobile insurance and valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of EMR is required.
• Two years of RN experience in hospice or related settings; hospice preferred.
• Compassionate RN with strong time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Develop and implement the Hospice Plan of Care.
• Educate patient and family on Plan of Care, medications, and care needs.
• Coordinate with physician, patient/family, and hospice team.
• Maintain accurate medical records and participate in on-call schedule.
