Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Hospice in Rutland, Vermont. The full-time RN will support hospice clients on a per-visit basis throughout Rutland County, performing duties such as medication administration, wound care, and comfort care.

Qualifications

A current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Vermont.
A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required.
Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Responsibilities

Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
Administer medications, wound care, treatments and comfort care.
Monitor clients' conditions and report changes to supervisor.
Follow up with, execute, and document doctors' orders.
Perform client assessments as necessary.
Occasional on-call after hours and/or weekends.
