Job summary

BAYADA Hospice in Colchester, VT is seeking dedicated Full Time Registered Nurses to join our hospice team serving clients in Chittenden, Washington and Franklin counties. You will provide compassionate in-home care as part of a multidisciplinary team, with emphasis on comfort and dignity for clients at the end of life.

Prior hospice experience is preferred but not required; we value growth and ongoing training, mileage reimbursement, weekly pay, and opportunities for career advancement within

Qualifications

• Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in VT.
• Minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical experience.
• Prior home care and/or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Making home visits to clients in designated geographic areas.
• Performing duties including administration of medication, wound care, treatments and comfort care.
• Monitoring clients' conditions and reporting changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders.
• Performing client assessments as necessary.
• Occasional on-call after hours and/or weekends.
