Job summary

St. Luke's Hospice McCall Team is seeking a compassionate Hospice RN to provide PRN home-based care.

You will perform admissions, conduct informational visits, and manage imminent and routine visits for terminally ill patients, working with an interdisciplinary team to tailor care plans centered on symptom control, medication oversight, and emotional support. The role emphasizes independence, teamwork, and strong communication skills, with on-call pay and travel within McCall and surrounding

Qualifications

• RN with at least 1 year of RN experience; Hospice or Acute Care experience preferred.
• Education: ASN or BSN
• Current Idaho RN license and BLS certification
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide PRN hospice nursing care in patients' homes.
• Conduct admission and informational visits; manage imminent and routine visits.
• Collaborate with IDT to develop and manage personalized care plans.
• Focus on symptom management, medication oversight, and emotional/spiritual support.
• Educate patients and families about the care process.
