Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in the Springfield, MO area is seeking a compassionate Hospice RN for full-time home visits. You will provide direct patient care, including medications, wound care, and comfort measures, within patients' homes and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team.

The role involves monitoring patient conditions, documenting doctors' orders, and performing necessary assessments. Travel to local cases is required, with on-call duties possible after hours or weekends.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Hospice experience welcomed but not required; we will train you.
• Ability to travel locally to cases as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients in their homes, performing medication administration, wound care, treatments and comfort care.
• Monitor client conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Follow up with and properly document doctors' orders.
• Perform client assessments as necessary.
• Occasional on-call after hours and/or weekends.
