Job summary

AuthoraCare Collective is seeking a Hospice RN for Long-Term Care in Greensboro. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with on-call responsibilities as scheduled.

You will manage care plans, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and support patients and families with compassionate nursing care. Requirements include NC RN license in good standing, CPR/BLS certification, and 1 year of hospice/home health/long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Must be licensed as an RN in North Carolina in good standing.
• One year of experience in acute, hospice, home health, or long-term care.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Two years of experience preferred.
• CHPN certification preferred.
• CPR certification from AHA or ARC (BLS) is required.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate care per patient plan of care with the interdisciplinary group.
• Assess patient and family needs; set nursing goals and interventions.
• Work with physicians to establish medical plan of care.
• Maintain therapeutic relationship; provide emotional support and teaching.
• Communicate with team in writing and verbally; document outcomes.
• On-call responsibilities as scheduled.
