Job summary

VITAS Healthcare is seeking a Home Health Hospice RN to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in patients' homes across our Florida service area. The role emphasizes autonomy at the bedside, clinical judgment, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comfort and dignity at the end of life.

The RN will perform home visits, coordinate with social workers and physicians, and educate families on palliative care principles.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice nursing in the state of employment.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience in hospice, home health, or community health in the last five years.
• Equivalency of experience or licensure may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice nursing care at patients' homes.
• Visit 4–6 patients daily and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families about palliative care and comfort-focused end-of-life care.
