Job summary

VITAS Healthcare in Florida seeks an experienced Home Care Registered Nurse (RN). You will ensure hospice patients are comfortable and build compassionate connections with families, honoring the end-of-life journey.

You will join an interdisciplinary team, visit patients at home, coordinate care with social workers and physicians, and advocate for comfort, dignity, and patient-centered decisions each day.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located.
• A minimum of two years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or community health in the last five years.
• Equivalent experience or licensure may be considered

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice nursing care in patients' homes and support families.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team during weekly visits.
• Maintain patient welfare and comfort; advocate for dignity.
• Ensure timely care decisions and education on palliative care.
