Job summary

Hospice Savannah Inc. in Savannah, GA seeks a registered nurse to evaluate patients for hospice eligibility and provide nursing care in all settings.

The RN must maintain patient confidentiality and uphold patient rights, while respecting diverse cultures and lifestyle choices. Full-time position, 30-40 hour work weeks with rotating days, evenings, or weekends; extensive driving up to 500 miles per week; may be required to work on HIPU and homecare.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with GA RN license.
• Minimum of one year RN experience in hospice, oncology, med-surg or home health.
• CPR certification and valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation and strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients for hospice eligibility and provide nursing care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and promote patient rights.
• Document patient encounters accurately using a computer.
• Coordinate care with families and healthcare team.
