Job summary

Hospice Savannah is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to evaluate patients for hospice care and provide nursing care across settings. You will maintain patient confidentiality, support patient rights, and collaborate with physicians, staff, and families in line with our service excellence standards.

The role requires GA RN license (BSN preferred), at least one year in hospice or related fields, CPR certification, reliable transportation, and strong documentation and customer service

Qualifications

• GA RN license required.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in hospice/oncology/med-surg/home health.
• Hospice or oncology certification preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong customer service, assessment and documentation skills.
• Proficient MS Office and database skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients for hospice eligibility.
• Provide nursing care to patients and families in all settings.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and promote patient rights.
• Coordinate with physicians and Hospice Savannah staff.
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely.
