Job summary

Caris-Healthcare in Memphis, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care per physician orders. Salary ranges from $70,000 to $75,000 yearly, depending on experience, with a mission to deliver hospice care with grace across the Southeast.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating total patient care plans, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must have RN licensure in state of operation.
• Hospice or Home Health experience preferred.
• Solid nursing principles and patient-family teaching.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient's symptoms.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and interdisciplinary team to develop care plans.
• Advise on patient rights, grievance procedures, reimbursement, and responsibilities.
• Observe and evaluate patient's status and education needs for caregivers.
• Supervise, evaluate, and direct aides and licensed practical nurses.
• Participate in on-call rotating schedule and provide back-up assistance.
