Acacia Health is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor to support the Director of Patient Care Services in Palm Desert, CA. This role provides clinical leadership, oversees staff, and ensures regulatory compliance across hospice operations.

The position emphasizes guiding an interdisciplinary team, maintaining high-quality patient-centered care, and driving survey readiness while delivering compassionate service in an in-office setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in California.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Minimum two years hospice nursing experience.
• Supervisory or management experience in hospice, home health, palliative care, or related healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong clinical leadership experience with hospice regulations, clinical documentation, quality standards, patient safety practices, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily hospice clinical operations and support high-quality patient care.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, coaching, and support to nursing and interdisciplinary team members.
• Coordinate patient care services, admissions, recertifications, discharges, and complex clinical cases.
• Oversee clinician scheduling, visit assignments, and care coordination to ensure timely patient service.
• Monitor clinical documentation, physician orders, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and timely billing.
• Support quality assurance initiatives, chart audits, and performance improvement activities.
• Participate in IDG collaboration to promote effective patient care planning.
• Resolve patient, family, physician, and staff concerns with exceptional customer service.
• Drive survey readiness and ensure ongoing compliance with hospice regulations and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with leadership, case managers, scheduling teams, and physicians for operational success.
• Conduct field visits, staff mentoring, and training to promote clinical excellence and professional development.
