Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Amedisys hospice team seeks an RN Clinical Manager Hospice to lead, supervise, and coordinate therapy services, ensuring high-quality, compliant patient care while maintaining fiscal responsibility. You will support referrals, scheduling, and documentation as needed.

The role requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, current RN license, CPR certification, and 1+ years of clinical RN experience in home health or hospice, plus 1+ year RN management experience.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Current RN license in the state(s) you are assigned to work.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1+ years of clinical RN experience in home health or hospice.
• 1+ years of RN management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports, participates and works cooperatively with the director of staffing.
• Responsible for overall quality of patient care and clinical performance of nurses and aides.
• Organizes clinical operations for the care center.
• Reviews requests for services and determines patient eligibility/suitability for home care services; coordinates referrals and admissions.
• Oversees scheduling and payor verification requirements.
• Reviews documentation and resolves missing or untimely entries.
• Assists with Plan of Care development and revisions with clinicians.
• Participates in on-call process and staff training.
